This CIVIVI Appalachian Drifter is one good looking knife! The layered yellow G-10 and rose-patterned carbon fiber handle is aesthetically unique. It features a damascus clad 9Cr18MoV steel blade with a black, hand-rubbed finish, black stainless steel liners, and double detent slip joint action. This slipjoint mechanism allows for smooth opening and closing action without the force of a traditional backspring. Instead of one detent ball, it has two, which allow just the right amount of force to keep it both open and closed.
